Former Butterfield Health Care Group Chief Executive Officer Robert Jafari has built an impressive career since becoming a senior executive at 17 years old. With 23 years of experience in the elder housing industry, Robert Jafari is an expert in the field. Learning early on that the baby boomer generation would eventually increase the demand for skilled health care, Robert Jafari decided in a high school demographics class to focus his work on meeting that need. Before finishing school, Robert Jafari met his future business partner, an aging gentleman who he met selling dishware from door-to-door. Together, he and Robert Jafari started Butterfield Health Care Group, which now employs over 700 individuals.
A respected entrepreneur, Robert Jafari has sat on the board for a number of successful companies. In addition to serving as Secretary and Board of Director for Concert Health Plan and Illinois Council on Long Term Care, Robert Jafari has also been a board member for Ashton Surgical Center, Northwoods Children's Museum, the Fox Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, Meadowbrook Manor, and Oak Brook Surgical Center.
In his current role as co-founder of BHC Construction Company in Naperville, Illinois, Robert Jafari builds medical, residential, and commercial properties, including nursing facilities and outpatient health care centers. Using an innovative method that entails concurrent design and construction procedures, Robert Jafari helps his clients keep costs and project time down. Some of his existing projects include a property for a hospice company and a series of medical office buildings.
An accomplished businessman, Robert Jafari has helped start a number of businesses over the last two decades. Robert Jafari managed construction, financing, zoning, and permit acquisition for a 55,000-square-foot surgical center. Co-founder of property development firm Robert Arthur Land Company and Concert Health Plan, Robert Jafari has created jobs for thousands of individuals.
Presently enrolled at Harvard Extension School, Robert Jafari is pursuing his Bachelor's degree, adding to his credits already earned at Northwestern University, Loyola University, and the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
