Julie,

Although I'm not a techie, I believe I can solve your posting dilemmma and know what's causing it.

It would be easier to talk than write about this, but here goes...

If your paragraphs are running together, it's because there is html somewhere in your post. As soon as one bit of html is included, you have to format the whole post to html. Maybe you have a tag somewhere or a hyperlink in your post, but don't realize it. That would throw everything off.

Conversely, when I choose to post something in html, I have to make sure the whole thing is tagged correctly.

Now the other reason it can happen: The networks where you experience the issue - is the message board set differently? The old style was that each post would be separate. This "threaded" version is the newer version. Well, in the old version, if you replied to someone's post and they used any html in their post, then YOUR reply would also have to be html - otherwise the paragraphs would all run together as you describe. So are those message boards different than the one in this network? Here is an example of the former style of message board that used to be the only one on Ryze: http://twn1-network.ryze.com. If you posted a reply to someone who had html, then your reply would also have to be html or it would all run together with no breaks.

I was so happy when Ryze came up with this threaded option. It also separates the topics. Can you imagine what it was like having to read through all those individual posts like on Ellen's board?

Anyway, I hope one of the above is your solution. If not, take it to Ryze. It doesn't make sense for you to waste time dealing with it. I'm sure there's a solution.

Marilyn
