Dean H.
Hmmm... I didn't know we have so many networking gurus here. Welcome Deltra and Jacques.

I have quite a bit of business networking experience. They include serving as Vice President for the DC chapter of the Nat'l Assoc. of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP).  I served as the Regional Events Coordinator for Ryze Washington DC Business Networking Mixer– 1 of 25 Regional Business Networking Events for Ryze.  I also serving as a Networking Ambassador for the Professional Networkers Association. I originally founded the The Networker's Network forum on Ryze. We discuss and teach offline and some online business networking strategies for entrepreneurs and business people.

I currently run The Entrepreneurs Playground Network on openBC. As the slogan says, "Entrepreneurs Play Here." It's for the discussion of online networking communities, the internet, technology, Web 2.0 & social software, venture capital, real estate, sales & marketing issues.

I've been mentioned and referenced in several business networking books. Some are minor references, and some are major. This includes;
  • Scott Allen's, The Virtual Handshake.
  • Leesa Barnes', "Schmooze Your Way To Success".
  • And the biggest reference was having a chapter devoted to my thoughts on business networking in Bonnie Lowe's, "Networkerholics" book. I was certainly honored with that book as the book interviewed many of today's top business networkers in the U.S, which included Ardel Fleeson, aka The Schmooze Queen, Lynne Waymon, author of "Make Your Contacts Count" , Dan Williams of The Networking Community, Bob Burg, author "Endless Referrals" and more.

I'm also about to launch a new networking group here in the greater DC area called, Networkersville.

How bout you guys? :)

Dean
