Fourth International Congress on Yak
September 20-26, 2004 Chengdu, Sichuan, P. R. China
The Fourth International Congress on Yak will be held in September 20-26, 2004 in Chengdu, China. The aim of this congress is to provide a nice academic atmosphere to all participants and representatives coming from yak-keeping countries, non-yak-keeping countries and international organizations to present their research findings on the yak, to discuss sustainable development of yak husbandry and to promote communication, friendship and cooperation. Here, we sincerely wish that you will be able to be present at the congress.
Call for papers: Papers submitted to the Congress should accord to the following demands: invited papers should be no more than eight pages and research papers should be no more than three pages in length. All papers should be typed on an A4 paper with a margin of 1 inch for each side. Papers should be in line with the following order: title, author's name, institute or organization, summary within 250 words, keywords less than 8 words, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, closing remark, acknowledgment and references according to the sample attached.
The title of the paper should be succinct but informative. Each table or figure in the paper should be numbered, have a brief title and be mentioned in the text. Full papers should be edited using "Times New Roman 11" model. Any paper that is not in line with above format cannot be accepted for publication in the proceedings of the Congress. You are encouraged to submit your papers by email attachment, however, it is expected that one hardcopy of the papers together with disk (CD) should be sent Dr. Han Jianlin.
