Hello All,

"Relationships" between men and women is very controversial topic. Just when you think they are working, the couple announces a divorce. Others you think will not make it spend a lifetime together. I for one think it is because most people never grow up into real adults, but they try to have real adult relationships and it just doesn't work.

Lois-

Interesting perspectives. (By the way...welcome to the network!)

I think part of the reason that relationships fail is two fold...first of all many people expect to enter into a relationship and just let it happen. Relationships take hard work by both parties.

The second reason I feel many relationships fall apart is somewhat related in that when things get a little rough, it's easier to just quit than to work at trying to make things better. I've seen some relationships that are better disolved, but in most cases those were relationships that died a long time ago due to lack of effort.

Relationships don't just happen...they take hard work and effort.

I am by no means an expert in relationships, but rather just someone that's been through a few ups and downs with a wonderful wife.

Take care,
Chris
