Jul 10, 2007 2:39 pm | | Game Farm for Sale in South Africa | # |
Dave Lovell | | Family owned business/game farm since 1963. Running on only 20% of its true potential and yet still yields a +$4m turnover per annum.
Included in the price of the farm is: the infrastructure and facilities for the various lodges; hunting area +270,000 acres airstrip & helipad; animals (incuding the Big Five - Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo) vehicles
The unique value of this game farm is that it is the only privately owned game farm in SA where you can hunt the big five under permit and where the breeding programs are in place for years and years already ....
Also within the next 5 years the new Molopo Game Reserve which will border Namibia and Botswana will eventually border this game farm as well ....making the land thus treble in value ....as is the case with all farms bordering the Kruger Park.
Sale Price of $15.5m

Lily Safaryan | | I deal in International Business Acquisitions and even though your project title was interesting however reading about hunting on BIG FIVE animals made me wonder about the ethical and humain issues here. For no money in the world I can support the unhumain nature of your business, killing the anymals for fun, just to play the game? I can't understand you, there are so many legal, ethical and fun ways of making money, have you ever wondered about that?

Dave Lovell | | Lily,
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and values about life and live with the choices they decide to make. If you're not interested... don't add negative comments. The world is not in an ideal situation all of the time. There are people who make money selling and buying oil ... and you use oil in everything you do... but are you complaining about that?
Have a great life. Private Reply to Dave Lovell |

Rex Emmanuel | | You are right Lily. There are so many legal, ethical and fun ways of making money.
But you see, there is fun in facing challenges, fighting against wild both animals and men in jungles and corporate jungles. am I right my friend.
The game should be of question of survival, it should set your adrelin rushing in to your vein. In the fight you risk your life too, then I can call it a fair sport.
Hiding at a distance and killing the captively bred animals with out their knowlwedge is no sport/game. it is like beating the dead snake, is there a fun??
Lily, I am stand by too receive big gun fire from our friendPrivate Reply to Rex Emmanuel |

Dave Lovell | | I agree that there are many other ways to skin a cat (pun intended), but then if you're not interested - Don't Post. Rex, being from India most of you guys are vegetarian, but that does not stop you from being a capitalist, and making money come what may. Lily you hail from Dubai where there is complete abuse of the human labour force and now you settle in a country that supported the evil war against the Iraqi people - all in the name of oil? Come on, stop this nitpicking about ethics - I repeat if this is not for you - don't post and look for your wealth, health, and peace of mind elsewhere.
