It would be great to know what everyone does for their daily routine of "FITNESS" and promotion of "GOOD HEALTH".

My major key to fitness is: Walking, I try walking after I come home from work, It works great because it erases all work tensions, better prepares me for the situations to come BUT most of all---IT GIVES ME ENERGY and helps SHED those Pounds! Walking has multiple purposes.

Also, as you guys know by now I take those VIT'S and I mix in a helping serving of Vegetables to pull me through my cravings and sinful food desires!

I just think the way I take care of my body will definitely reap the benefits. Sometime around the holidays its hard but I've learned to "chop it off" as a Challenge.

Have a Great Day/Eve

Hi Ann- don't ever apologize for what you believe. We all have our own Universe that is important to us! (Per what is written on your website...)

What do I do to stay fit?

I walk 45 minutes a day, wearing workout shoes that have weights built into them to tone and strengthen. I also drink my whole foods juice, 1 oz. per day and take multivitamins and minerals to supplement. I live in a Wellness Home, meaning the air, water and sleep environment is pristene and stress-free. The less stress that we put on our bodies, the better chance our bodies have to heal themselves, regenerate and stay fit. Most people think that if they exercise they are doing what needs to be done to stay fit. However, exercise produces free radicals in the body, just as bad air, chloronated water, bad nutrition and improper sleep do. So all that needs to be in balance to live at our optimum.

Thanks for asking and everyone spread the word to stay fit. It is no longer a sign of wealth to sit on our tooschs and fill our bellies with junk!

Take care,

Julie

I had a minor procedure done at the local hospital in Mumbai, after which I ailed and ailed and I was unable to walk! What did I do to stay fit? I took a break from work and put on a float and resorted to vigourous aqua aerobics in the swimming pool. And half an hour of slow swimming put me back on my feet. I hope my story helps those who want to remain fit.

Great to know about so many people engaged in working out regularly....but weighted shoes !!!walking is a cardio workout ...to increase intensity you may increase speed or walk on incline plane...weighted shoes will put unnecessary pressure on the ankle joint and lower leg.If you feel you are not heavy enough to tire by walking you may wear a weighted vest....if you are already heavy enough just enjoy the walk with briskness

I beg to differ..

Weighted shoes, if they are made appropriately are extremely beneficial, not only for toning, and increasing metabolism, but, do the research, weighted movement is incredibly beneficial for preventing osteoporosis.

People that cannot walk fast, or on in incline because of their weight or health, can benefit by these 1.5 to 2 pound weights in a simple gait. The weights are in the bottom of the shoes, not on the ankles or calves.

Thanks- John,

I'll keep the walking advice offer in mind. School will soon start here and that's when I have the most time to super charge my fitness routines. Since, my last post I've tappered off my "faithful" walks and I know it will prob. throw me into a "dreadful" gear getting back on track. Oh, and I'm a low impact, or might I say advancing moderate walker. ( I mostly nature walk...but I would like to super charge- when it's cooler here and-- and try power-walks.

I sometimes based the type of walking I do pertaining to the mood I'm in. Well, have a great day/eve! And Thanks again...
